Monday Night Wrapup
Written by ScottiePP7 on October 12, 2009 – 8:48 PM -Ok I know the rule, any given Sunday, these are all professional football teams, etc.,etc.,etc….
Seriously though, it’s the Redskins let’s not start saying the Panthers are back. This is like beating to local deaf school.
Speaking of the Redskins here is a look at the opponents record coming into a game against Washington:
Week 1: vs. 0-0 Giants.
Week 2: vs. 0-1 Rams.
Week 3: vs. 0-2 Lions.
Week 4: vs. 0-3 Bucs.
Week 5: vs. 0-3 Panthers.
Week 6: vs. 0-5 Chiefs.
They have yet to play a team with 1 win!! They have players calling out the owner, media calling out the coach, they stink.
Speaking of the NFC East and horrible teams…
Dallas barely beats Kansas City and how does Martellus Bennett try to improve… that’s right Lady Gaga.
Wade Philips is one loss away from Jerry Jones eating his heart.
One more from the NFC East…
You have to give it to anyone on the Raiders, they have a coach about to go to jail, a quaterback about to go Five Guys and a team no where near about to get another win. I watched this game yesterday and they really did try. You have to give it to them, they haven’t quit (except Russel, but he never started so he couldn’t quit). It’s really amazing how a parity league is clearly divided into three tiers this year.
That brings me to the Giants. I am a Giants fan so I will probably talk about them a little bit here every Monday. They are 5-0 but they have beaten no one. Next week they will be playing the Saints in New Orleans and it will be a good test but I am not really worried if they lose. The Giants are missing some key players on defense in Ross, Canty and Boley – these guys should all be back for the playoff push in a few weeks so if we win without them it will be huge.
Looking ahead, this is what players do on their bye week
Reggie Bush comments on fashion:
Ok I don’t blame him, those things were hideous. Uniforms aside though, Neckbeard did what he has been doing most of his career, just enough to win. You can’t fault a guy for that. Plus he gets drunk and hooks up with chicks – I like that.
The Bears
This fits in perfectly with my weekend sadly. I spent a portion of Saturday night attempting to convince my friends that Major League 2 is much better than Major League 1 to no avail. We eventually watched 2 and they still weren’t convinced! The plot may be stupid but for my money you don’t get a better character than Rube. Plus is there any exchange better than this for a good game of beer pong:
Parkman: I got your timing now. But I’ll bet you don’t have enough hair on your ass to throw me another one.
Wild Thing: Well, here it comes, Parkman. Old number one, the terminator. You get a piece of it, you can rename it.
I challenge you to find a better sport’s movie quote to use in a game of pong.

I wish I could understand that so I could comment on it….

Major League 2 is certainly a funny movie, but it doesn’t really bring anything new to the table. Major League on the other hand has a feeling of authenticity and coherence that the second movie lacks. Furthermore, the Giants will soon plummet to a five hundred record. You heard it here first folks.
It’s unbelievable that blog owners have enough time to crank out great posts so consistently. The whole internet is a little bit like that, I guess. In any event, good post, I really enjoyed reading through it. I hope there will be more in the future
