@VShiancoe vs. @sharper42 – Now with Terrorism
Written by ScottiePP7 on June 3, 2010 – 2:27 PM -Awhile back we did a story on Darren Sharper calling out Bret Farve’s ankle surgery. He implied that the ankle was going to be a target for him and the Saints in their season opening matchup this year using the term “X marks the spot”.
Naturally this didn’t sit well with some of Bret’s teammates and a
little war ensued:
Visanthe Shiancoe struck first:
These seem mostly harmless, just some good smack talk. Visanthe’s teammate Bryant McKinnie joins the fray basically with nothing more than asking what’s going on:
Darren Sharper has one of the worst over reactions I have seen:
Not only is that way overblown but the inability to type out “ass” is just disturbing.
A few days went by and then the ultimate bomb was dropped taking this from a somewhat lame rivalry to an all-out, probably going to see a fight on the field, flame war…
Doesn’t read so bad right? Here’s the picture:

Yeah…
The best part of this picture is just how lame it is. This reminds me of when I do an impression of people and just say something like “I’m Bill Clinton, got any cigars?!?” in a high voice. It gets all the laughs from the ladies.
Now here is Visanthe’s explanation, truth be told, I don’t really get it:
Dude, you called him Bin Laden, it is one of top insults you can have today.
I never predicted having to tell a public figure using Bin Laden was a bad idea.
Note:Thanks to @Shotofginn from Shot of Ginn for pointing this out to me!

Billy Miller (@BillyMiller83) And the Good Side of Sports
Written by Wille Beamen on May 8, 2010 – 1:32 PM -Just a quick reminder of why we watch sports. It’s like seeing the 250 pound guys crying at the draft because his dream has actually come true.
You shouldn’t watch for T.O. or the guys on your fantasy team. It’s really about the fringe players scratching and clawing to make a living doing what they love.
Or becoming a legit force at tight end like Billy Miller.
So think about those guys waiting by the phone for that call that they’ve made a team… even if they have to pack up and move to Jacksonsville.

Don’t Worry Bengals Fans, Ocho Cinco’s Got This
Written by ScottiePP7 on May 5, 2010 – 10:16 PM -Let me take this time to try and summarize for you what has transpired during Ocho’s tenure as a Bengal:
Chris Henry - unlawful transaction with a minor (three counts), speeding, operating a vehicle under the influence, felony possession of a concealed firearm, possession of marijuana. First arrest was in December 2005
A.J. Nicholson - Burglary, grand theft
Frostee Rucker - Spousal battery
Reggie McNeal – Resisting arrest
Eric Steinbach - boating under the influence
Odell Thurman - DWI
Deltha O’Neal - DWI
Matthias Askew - Resisting arrest
Quincy Wilson - Disorderly Conduct
So now bringing in a running back in Larry Johnson who likes to slap women around, a wide receiver, Matt Jones, who would snort anything white you put in front of him and then you add your very own Coup de grâce in PacMan Jones, the man, the myth the legend.
Good Luck Cincinatti.

LeSean McCoy (@cutondime) Doesn’t Get Backed Up By His Blockers (like @BrentCelek)…
Written by Wille Beamen on May 3, 2010 – 2:04 PM -McCoy, the stellar second year running back for the Eagles, must’ve watched the Mayweather v. Mosley fight this weekend.
However, his tight end, Brent Celek isn’t buying it…
This really comes down the argued-one-million-times bar discussion of…
“Ok, in the ring Mayweather would win. But if we’re playing street rules, man. I’ll take him out.”
Which is generally not true. But I think LeSean has a chance.
Either way, Brent should be careful getting involved… seeing how this whole thing started….
He had to defend his honor in front of Ms. McCoy.
Thanks to @MrShawnFernando for the pointer.

Darrell Reid uses Twitter to Weigh-In on Men vs. Women
Written by ScottiePP7 on April 27, 2010 – 3:28 PM -Darrell Reid does his best Kevin Smith monolog and decides to use twitter to provide some commentary on relationships between men and women, men and men, women and women and whatever else he can think about.
Wow…
That reminds me of this great scene from Chasing Amy:
